Chicago Native, Sommer Crawford is affectionately known as Ms. Sommer, a Salon Manager and Women's Health Advocate.
While she enjoys the work that she does, her passion for helping others was the inspiration to start her organization and embark on the empowerment of women who have battled and overcome cancer. Along with providing women a platform to share their heroic stories of hope, inspiration and triumph over cancer.
In early December 2009, her sister was diagnosed with Stage IV Cervical Cancer and succumbed to this disease within four short months on April 3, 2010. She was age 44.
